In Spider-Man on PS4, Peter Parker is no longer working for the Daily Bugle, but Insomniac Games has still made taking pictures a big part of the game. Though Spider-Man does a pretty good job of explaining most gameplay mechanics, this is one that players may run into problems with.
Step by Step: How to Take a Picture in Spider-Man PS4
- Press up on the D-pad to access the camera
- Hold L2 Button
- Press the R1 Button
There will be numerous points in the game that you’ll need to take pictures to advance the story of the game, but there’s also a token that is associated with taking pictures of landmarks in the game and this will allow you to unlock special items.
Finding landmarks is pretty simple. Just pull up your map and look for the light blue icons that look like buildings. If you don’t have any of these landmark icons, make sure you’ve accessed the police surveillance towers in each district to reveal all the different landmarks.
If you’re looking to access Photo Mode in Spider-Man, this is something entirely different from the in-game camera. If you’re looking for Photo Mode, just press start and select the photo mode. The photo mode in Spider-Man has a number of different options to make photos from in-game content. You could even take a photo of you taking a photo.
