If there’s one thing that DICE isn’t short on, it’s confidence. Â Offering up a robust campaign, cooperative play, and their famous vehicular based multiplayer gameplay powered by the Frostbite 2 Engine, the Battlefield 3 developers believe that they offer more than the competition.
In a recent interview, Patrick Liu talked about what it means to be going head to head with the world’s most popular shooter.
“They’re behemoths,” Liu said when speaking about the Call of Duty franchise. Â “Just the notion that we would be able to take a chunk from their gamers is awesome… They’re both military shooters, but in terms of flavor and style, they’re different.” Â “We offer so much more than they do, I think.”
Battlefield 3 recently concluded an open beta test for the game which showed off some of the new features, vehicles, and maps, in preparation for an October 25th, 2011 release on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.
