The great part about the modding community on PC titles like The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and others for that matter, is that once released, opportunities are seemingly endless to expand upon the original games. We’ve already seen some pretty great mods come out of the Elder Scrolls community after the release of the Creation Tools and Steam Workshop functionality, but this latest one takes things a bit further and offers a fully featured Tower Defense mode for the game.
Said to be coming soon, you’ll be able to defend your castle against waves of enemies, buying upgrades, barricades, and a ton of other features which can be found in the video above. The mod is set to arrive in “Early April”
Zombie Gamer says that the gameplay in the Skyrim Tower Defense will be completely customizable. Â Enemy types will be able to be altered, modifiers can be added to spice up the gameplay, waves, difficulty and other customizable features are said to be available at launch.
Judging by the looks of the video above, there’s already been quite a bit of work put into this ambitious mod.
