Scalebound
Scalebound was certainly one of the most surprising reveals for Microsoft at E3 last year and we honestly haven’t seen or heard much of it since. Coming from Platinum Games really makes it one of the most anticipated releases for a lot of gamers and being exclusive to Xbox One almost has to guarantee it a spot in Microsoft’s Xbox One E3 conference this year.
Guitar Hero Live or Rock Band 4
Both Rock Band 4 and Guitar Hero Live are coming later this year and are definitely both going to be around at E3. However, just where will each of them be shown off in the conference circuit is the question. It wouldn’t surprise me if we saw one of them during the Xbox One E3 portion and one at the Sony, so I assume the Microsoft one has to have one of them. Regardless of which one it is, we should be in for a rocking good time.
The Next Ori (High profile indie title)
This does not in any means mean a sequel to Ori or a new game by the same developer, but rather just a major new indie game that will amaze people in the way Ori and the Blind Forest did last year. The ID@Xbox program has been very successful and brought us some fantastic games, so hopefully we will see a showcase of these during the Xbox One E3 show this year, with one sure to stand out from the rest.
Halo Reach Campaign DLC For MCC
This past weekend saw the release of the Halo 3: ODST campaign after much waiting, which has many wondering if we’ll also see the release of the campaign for Halo Reach as well at some point. With Halo 5: Guardians coming in October, it would make sense to release the Halo Reach campaign sometime prior to that. This would allow players to catch up on entire Halo saga in one package through the addition of more DLC and the Xbox One E3 showcase is just the time.
More Perks for Gold Members
This is a pretty broad topic as it’s hard to come up with exact ideas that they could implement for Xbox Live Gold members to make the service better. Maybe a credit return program on purchases of some sort to try and promote digital purchases for Xbox One. Maybe even a much improved Games With Gold program, which has albeit gotten better of the last year. The main problem is that Xbox One still technically only gets one game per month, with the other being a repeat. This month in fact saw Pool Nation FX for the third straight month alongside a new game. That also leads to the last wish for Microsoft’s Xbox One E3 conference.
AAA Title Announcements for Xbox One Games With Gold
The June slate for Xbox Games With Gold was pretty disappointing as mentioned above, though Massive Chalice was a solid addition. However, hopefully the fact that Pool Nation FX was included for a third month is a sign that a new game will be announced at E3 to join the lineup for the month. At worst, maybe they can announce a really good lineup for July during the Xbox One E3 conference.
