Megyn Kelly calls out four A-list celebrities for being ‘mean’, including one she flat-out says is a ‘bad person’

Kelly's got receipts

Megyn Kelly recently talked about the famous people she has worked with during her career. The 55-year-old journalist was asked to name the meanest celebrities she has met, and four names came to her mind.

According to the Daily Mail, Jane Fonda was the first person Kelly mentioned. She brought up their 2017 interview, where things got tense. Kelly asked the 88-year-old actress about her past plastic surgery, and Fonda got angry about the question.

Kelly explained that she asked about plastic surgery on purpose. Her producers told her not to talk about sex scenes from Fonda’s movie Our Souls at Night because her co-star Robert Redford didn’t want to discuss it. So she picked a different topic instead.

Bruce Willis seemed unhappy during their 2006 interview

Kelly also talked about a bad experience with Bruce Willis. She said this might sound wrong since the actor is now dealing with serious health problems. Willis was diagnosed with Frontotemporal Dementia in 2022 after he revealed he had aphasia, which affects how people speak and understand language.

When Kelly interviewed the Die Hard star in 2006, she said he seemed unfriendly and unhappy. She described him as not giving much during the interview and looking like he didn’t want to be there. Kelly wondered why he agreed to do the interview if he was so unwilling to participate.

The third celebrity Kelly mentioned was Al Roker from the Today Show. However, she didn’t explain what happened between them. She only made a joke comparing a possible meeting between her mother and Roker to Larry David running into Alan Dershowitz at Martha’s Vineyard. Not all celebrities leave negative impressions, though, as some stars like George Clooney chose to leave Hollywood for a quieter life.

Ellen DeGeneres was the last person on Kelly’s list. Kelly said a close family member worked behind the scenes on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. According to Kelly, staff members were told not to look at DeGeneres directly. She claimed they had to look down at the floor instead. Kelly said she wasn’t surprised when people accused DeGeneres of workplace bullying in 2020. Kelly called DeGeneres a bad person. Unlike DeGeneres, other celebrities have shown genuine kindness, such as when Taylor Swift gave a stadium worker an unexpected generous gift.

Kelly has also faced criticism recently. In November, she made comments about Jeffrey Epstein on The Megyn Kelly Show that upset many people online. She said someone close to the case told her that Epstein liked 15-year-old girls but wasn’t interested in younger children. Many people on were shocked and disgusted by her comments about the convicted sex offender.
