The toughest and most rewarding content in Destiny 2 is undoubtedly the Leviathan Raid.  With the recent announcement of The Curse of Osiris DLC for Destiny 2, Bungie also confirmed that a new Raid would be included with the Expansion.

According to Bungie, The Curse of Osiris will feature “New Raid Content.”  This should be confirmation enough that a new Raid, likely set on Mercury is slated for release around the same time.  Details about the new Raid in Destiny has not been revealed at this time, but the DLC will feature a new play area for the game on Mercury as well as the Lighthouse social area.

Bungie has been slow to roll out Raid content for Destiny 2.  On the initial release of the game it took them a few weeks to release Leviathan as they wanted to give players time to level up their characters to a sufficient point to tackle the challenging content.

It’s good to see the announcement that The Curse of Osiris will have a new raid.  Previous expansions, like the House of Wolves, did not feature additional Raid content for the game.  Look for more details about Destiny 2’s The Curse of Osiris Raid as we get closer to the December 5th release date.

The new raid for Destiny 2 may not launch on December 5th, though it should be coming shortly thereafter.
