Fortnite: Battle Royale Where to Get Hop Rocks

The dust has settled in Fortnite: Battle Royale.  The map has changed, there’s a giant crater in the middle of it called Dusty Divot.  It’s the spot where the meteor crashed, but it also adds a new gameplay mechanic to Fortnite: Battle Royale with Hop Rocks.

The special rocks in Fortnite will allow you to jump higher and longer in the game, giving you a low gravity effect upon eating them.  You can find these Hop Rocks in the Dusty Divot area.  It’s pretty easy to spot on the map, it’s the giant brown crater right in the middle.

You can find them in and around the area, and players are already flocking to the zone.  You’ll be able to spot the Hop Rocks by looking for their glowing blue color.  Once you eat them you’ll get these low gravity abilities for a short while before they expire.  Head to the Dusty Divot and you’re more than likely to find and test out this new item in Fortnite: Battle Royale.

While this new gameplay mechanic isn’t loved by all thus far, it certainly adds something interesting and different to the mix.
