Shadow of The Tomb Raider: How Long to Beat

Shadow of the Tomb Raider is another big adventure game that takes players on an adventure with Lara Croft.  It’s got a bunch of different content in it, including a main story mode, side missions, as well as challenge tombs and other open world content to explore.  If you’re looking to beat Shadow of the Tomb Raider and don’t care about side missions or challenge tombs, Shadow of the Tomb Raider will take you around 10-12 hours to complete.

Like most games, this can vary depending on the player.  Since the side missions and challenge tombs are relatively easy to stumble across while playing the game you may end up playing through them regardless and this can add to your playtime.  Our exact playtime with all of story and a few of the side activities was 13.5 hours.  If you do focus on just the story content, you could see yourself beating the game in less time than that.

If you do a small amount of the side missions or challenge tombs, you could see your run time for the game clocking in at close to 13-15 hours.  If you’re trying to collect and see everything in Shadow of the Tomb Raider you could be looking at 20+ hours to see everything.

It will come down to what you want to get out of Shadow of the Tomb Raider.  Our suggested optimal playthrough would be playing the main story path and checking out the side mission and challenge tomb content to see if its something that you like.
