A farmer was clearing his fields at night when a roar echoed through the dark, so he reached for his comfort song: ‘Baby Shark’

A farmer in Uzbekistan has gone viral after reaching for some upbeat music when a late-night shift in his fields came with sounds straight out of a horror movie. The video, posted by belarus_117, has drawn over ten million views and shows the farmer clearing plants from the blades of his tractor when a loud roar echoes through the night.

The farmer looks up, and beyond a small halo of light from the tractor, the land around him is pitch black. As the sound continues, he turns around and quickly climbs into the cab of his running vehicle. Once inside, he hits the accelerator and reaches for his phone, which is clipped to the rearview mirror.

The screen shows a YouTube feed, and he hits play on the last video he watched, which turns out to be the upbeat melody of “Baby Shark.” His caption simply reads, “Beby shark do do do,” followed by a laughing emoji.

Commenters think he’d make it to the end of a horror movie

Many commenters joked that his reaction showed strong survival instincts. One person added a running emoji and wrote, “Yup, you will survive in a horror movie.”

Others focused on his song choice, with one user quipping, “Stay calm and baby shark dododododo.” Another thought the music didn’t help matters, writing, “Somehow the toddler music makes it scarier.”

Many viewers focused on the mystery creature behind the noise, with some pointing to folklore. One user wrote that it looked like “a good night for skin walkin,” while another jokingly asked what Appalachian creature they had heard.

Other viewers were curious about a real-world explanation for the sound. One user asked whether it was “a boar or a husky,” noting that both can sound similar.
