Achilles Will Be In Assassin’s Creed Rogue (With Haytham and Adewale)

We have already covered the fact that Adewale will be returning (likely for the last time, at least chronologically) to the game series in Assassin’s Creed Rogue. Along with Adewale, there will also be Haytham Kenway and, as we have previously speculated, Achilles Davenport from Assassin’s Creed 3. Obviously, spoiler alert, but these two characters aren’t going to die, Adewale probably will though, either of old age or Shay.

But really, SPOILER ALERT, if you want to go into Assassin’s Creed Rogue with no information about plot (minus what you just read), STOP NOW.

All this information can be gleaned from Ubisoft’s new one and a half minute story trailer for Assassin’s Creed Rogue, which you can watch below. As with any story trailer, there are some spoilers if you know what to look for. For one thing, there is an elder native American who looks to be some sort of elder or mentor for the Assassins and we see Shay holding him by his neck a little later on in the trailer. With the wrist blades, that man is as good as dead.

We also learn that Shay and Achilles appear as if they will have a feud of some sort over the “killing of innocents” (which is funny, because for the first time in the Assassin’s Creed series, you won’t be penalized for killing civilians) and that Shay vows to kill everyone who gets between him and Achilles. Also, considering the fact that Achilles was spared by Haytham (which is what we learned in Assassin’s Creed 3), but also happened to be the last assassin in all of the Americas, it’s a pretty good bet that all the assassins you see in the trailer will be dead by the end of the game, most likely at your hands.

Assassin’s Creed Rogue will be available for PS3 and Xbox 360 on November 11th, releasing simultaneously with Assassin’s Creed Unity, and the PC version will be released some time in 2015.
