We had been hearing rumors for months suggesting that earlier Assassin’s Creed games would be getting remastered on current generation consoles, and now we have the official announcement. Ubisoft has revealed that Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection will launch for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 17th, featuring three games from the series.

The three games featured in this collection are Assassin’s Creed 2, Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood and Assassin’s Creed Revelations in remastered form, though specific details on the remaster work have not yet been revealed. It was previously rumored that these new versions of the game would run at 1080p, 30fps, however.

One thing we do know is that these games will be coming with singleplayer DLC, though no multiplayer will be featured. To go along with all this, anyone who purchases this collection will get a free movie ticket to see the Assassin’s Creed movie that is coming out this December.

While this year marks the first year in several years that we didn’t get a main Assassin’s Creed game released, next year is expected to bring new things to the franchise. Rumors suggest that the game will take place in Egypt, though no official details on the game have been shared at this point.
