Tekken 7 has only been confirmed for arcades at the moment, but this hasn’t stopped Bandai Namco from hinting what home platforms the game will be ported on.

Korean website “inven” talked to Bandai Namco’s Katsuhiro Harada on various topics. The site asked Harada where we might see Tekken 7 after its arcade release comes out.

Harada tried to answer the question as best he can, but avoided being too specific. He just said Tekken 7 is coming out to arcades now, but we have not “decided or confirmed platforms“for the game as of yet.

Harada did say Bandai Namco is “considering a PC version for certain countries that prefer or need to play on PC“. This is a strong indication that Tekken 7 will eventually be ported to the PC one day.

Tekken 7 being on PC will be interesting since it will be the first Tekken game to be released on the PC platform. The Tekken franchise had always been exclusive to the arcades and consoles.

A lot of fighting games are already confirmed to be releasing to the PC in the near future. These games include Dragon Ball Xenoverse, Street Fighter V, Mortal Kombat X and Dead or Alive 5: Last Round. Tekken 7 could soon be joining them once Bandai Namco makes a decision on it.
