The next episode in Telltale Games’ Batman series is coming later this month, as the company has revealed that it will launch on September 20th. The episode is called Children of Arkham and will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on the aforementioned release date, though release dates for other platforms will come later this month.
While more information on the episode has not yet been revealed by Telltale Games, the episode will be playable at a special Crowd Play event at PAX West on Saturday, September 3rd.
The first episode launched early last month and was met with a generally positive reception, despite the Telltale formula getting a little stale for some. The developer has previously stated that they are aiming to get all 5 episodes out by the end of the year, though it is possible that the final episode could miss its December launch window and get pushed back to January.
For those who don’t want to purchase these episodes digitally, a retail version is set to launch later this month on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It includes the first episode of the series, as well as the season pass that grants you access to the remaining four episodes.
