Alleged achievements for Battlefield 1 leaked out over the weekend. The rumored achievements reveal just how much of a single-player campaign the PlayStatio 4, Xbox One, and PC World War I shooter might have.

A Reddit post from txt231 claims to have an in-development version of the Battlefield 1 achievements. The achievement list reveals the game will have 6 different episodes of unknown length. By comparison the Visceral Games developed Battlefield: Hardline featured 10 episodes for comparison and the game’s campaign clocked in at 6 to 10 hours depending on the speed at which player’s made their way through.

It’s important to note that these achievements are a rumor right now and most likely incomplete if true. Indeed, some appear to be nothing more than place holders at the moment.

The Battlefield 1 announcement came with a confirmation from DICE that players would jump to different characters and locations during World War I. Those confirmed so far include the Harlem Hellfighters, which served in France; a Bedouin warrior woman fighting in the Middle East in a revolt against the Ottoman Empire; plus one location in the Italian Alps from the trailer and another that appears to be a spy mission of some sort.

Episode 1 is titled “Friends in High Places,” per the leak. It’s hard to discern any meaning from the phrase, but might refer to airplanes, blimps, or artillery in the game.

“Nothing is Written” is the title of Episode 2, which definitely has meaning in the context of World War I. This is a line from the character Sherif Ali in Lawrence of Arabia who states, “Truly, for some men nothing is written unless they write it.” This points to the Bedouin warrior woman.

The third episode is named “Through Mud and Blood,” which is part of the unofficial motto of the British Tank Corps during World War I. The full motto is, “Through mud and blood to the green fields beyond.” Obviously, this points to a tank-filled mission.

Episode 4 goes by the Italian battle cry “Avante Savoia!” suggesting this is the one that takes place in the Italian Alps.

The fifth episode possibly jumps into the spy game. It is titled “The Runner” and certainly fits with the trailer of the one character running through a building while being shot at.

The sixth and final episode is simply titled “Epilogue” from which no discernible information can be derived.

Battlefield 1 has set a release date for October 18 for those that pre-order the $80 Early Enlister Deluxe Edition. This includes the Red Baron Pack, the Lawrence of Arabia Pack, plus five Battlepacks. The Standard Edition of the game will be released October 21 for $60. Both editions will come with the Harlem Hellfighter Pack.
