Battlefield 3: Back to Karkand Listed For December 7th

by | @AttackFanboy | on November 30, 2011

DICE hasn’t revealed a concrete date for Back to Karkand, officially.  However, the Asian PlayStation Store lists the content for next week, for release on December 7th.  The map pack is free for certain pre-orderers of the game, or anyone that purchased the Limited Edition of Battlefield 3.  If you did grab the bonus before launch, you’ll get the expansion pack of fan favorite maps when it goes live.

Between the classic maps remastered for Frostbite 2, new vehicles, weapons, and game mode, this should be just what the doctor ordered to keep the month old game fresh.  If you didn’t happen to meet the requirements to get the content on the free, you’ll need to pony up some cash for this first expansion.  And since the Asian PS3 store is listing the content for the 7th, you can expect about a week of wait time if you are looking for the content on the Xbox 360.

If you would like to get a sneak peek at one of the Back to Karkand maps “Gulf of Oman”  head here for the HD trailer.
