The upcoming downloadable content for Battlefield 4, “Naval Strike”, will feature a new game mode called Carrier Assault. The leaked tutorial video above details the objectives in Carrier Assault, and offers a glimpse at what the new mode will play like.
Carrier Assault will have teams fighting over control points which can launch missles at the other team’s aircraft carrier, earning the teams points towards victory. The tutorial video also shows boarding the enemy carrier, and killing enemies to earn points in a similar fashion.
We’ll likely be hearing more about Naval Strike later this month. DICE is rumored to be releasing the DLC to Battlefield 4 Premium members later this month. Naval Strike will feature four new multiplayer maps, this new game mode, as well as new weapons and vehicles for this amphibious warfare.
