When the new Xbox One model launched a few weeks ago, Best Buy held a few sales revolving around the new console to entice customers to pick up some games and accessories as well. However, they are definitely not forgetting about the original Kinect bundle either, as their focus this week revolves around the original Xbox One bundle, with a major perk added.
Months ago, Microsoft added in a free digital download for Forza Motorsport 5 with the $499.99 Xbox One console and that is still around for the same price, even with the new cheaper SKU. Best Buy is increasing your value on this bundle for this week though, by also throwing in a free copy of Call of Duty: Ghosts, which still retails for $59.99 on its own. Combined with the already included Forza, which typically retails for $59.99, you are getting one heck of a deal.
With the purchase of either type of Xbox One console, you can also save $30 on an Xbox Live 12 month subscription, so essentially it will only cost you $30 to get signed up for the year. The headset included in the box is not that great, so they have also discounted the official Xbox One stereo headset to $69.99, though I still prefer Turtle Beach’s XO Seven personally, but that’s going to cost you a good bit more.
Lastly, a few Xbox One games that are mostly exclusives to the platform have been discounted to $44.99 this week, or $15 off the MSRP.
- Titanfall (Xbox One version only)
- FIFA 14 (Xbox One version only)
- Dead Rising 3
- Kinect Sports Rivals
- Forza Motorsport 5
- Ryse: Son of Rome
This sale will run through next Saturday, June 28, so don’t miss out!
