Bethesda recently held their E3 showcase for this year, and while a number of games from established franchises were discussed, there was also a reveal for a completely new IP. This new game is called Deathloop.

Revealed for the first time at Bethesda’s E3 2019 presentationDeathloop is a first-person action game being developed by Arkane Lyon, who have also worked on the Dishonored series, as well as developing Wolfenstein: Youngblood alongside fellow Bethesda studio MachineGames. Deathloop stars two main characters, both of whom are expert assassins and both of whom are trapped in a seemingly never-ending loop that can only end with one of these assassins killing the other. Arkane Lyon boasts that players will be able to take on all the scenarios the game throws at them in any way they like, giving players a ton of freedom in how they want to go about their missions.

There is still a lot about this new game that remains unknown, including what platforms it will be available for and when it might get released. In the meantime, you can try to find out as much about the game as you can by watching and re-watching its announcement trailer, which you can find below.
