Next month Driveclub will be getting another update that adds new content and tweaks to the gameplay, and the developers are teasing fans that this one will be a big one.
Taking to Twitter, developer Evolution Studios posted a short video that features a short racing clip along with a message that reads: “The next #DRIVECLUB update is coming in Feb & we’re packing a lot into it. Expect to see more later this month!”
The developer did not confirm whether or not this would be a paid or free update, as when they were asked about it on Twitter the game’s director replied with, “We’ll be announcing the details over the next few weeks.” Considering the game’s Season Pass ended a while ago, anything’s possible in regards to pricing at this point.
Despite the disastrous launch that Driveclub experienced, the game was eventually able to get fixed up and is in a state now that is actually enjoyable. The game has been supported with regular updates to give fans new content to keep them busy, though it’s unknown how long the developers are planning to support the game going forward.
