Activision and Treyarch have revealed the Black Ops 4 Multiplayer & Blackout beta dates. The testing will arrive in a couple of different phases, with PlayStation 4 owners getting the first chance to go hands on with Black Ops 4 multiplayer on August 3rd with an Xbox One and PC beta arriving shortly after.
In September, another beta will arrive, and this one will give players their first hands-on with Call of Duty’s spin on Battle Royale in the new Blackout Mode. An exact date for the beta of Blackout has not been announced at this time, but it’s expected that it will also arrive on the PlayStation 4 first as well.
PlayStation 4 owners will get double the beta time, with an exclusive three day beta before the PC and Xbox One release.
For the console beta, players will need to have a Private Beta key that will be received when pre-ordering the game. Those who pre-order on the Xbox or PlayStation stores will automatically be given access to the game on the dates below. On the PC, anyone with a Battle.net account will be able to play the beta, but those who pre-order the game will get one day of early access to the beta on August 10th.
