After what seems like an eternity, Blizzard Entertainment has officially unveiled BlizzCon 2019. The annual celebration of everything Blizzard will once again take place at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim California on Friday November 1 to Saturday November 2.

Usually filled with panels, esport competitions, and other fan events, BlizzCon is where fans of the long time development studio come together and revel in the companies franchises firsthand. However, before these festivities are underway, Blizzard always starts with the Opening Ceremony where they make announcements for new IP’s and updates to current ones.

This is more than likely a sour note as of late due to the Opening Ceremony of last years convention where their were no major announcements, and the ill-fated Diablo Immortal reveal that left fans a little disappointed. This was magnified when we later found out that the much more anticipated reveal, Diablo 4, was pulled from the event at the last minute.

Blizzard President J. Allen Brack has a chance to make up for all of that with this years address, and hopefully he delivers. For those looking do attend the convention, start marking your calender’s as the first wave of tickets goes on sale next Saturday, May 4 at 10:00 am PST. The second batch will go on sale a few days later on Wednesday, May 8 at 7:00 pm PST.

Their will be three tiers of ticket options for you to purchase on those days. The standard BlizzCon Pass, the BlizzCon Benefit Dinner, and a brand new one called the BlizzCon Portal Pass which gives buyers a plethora of extra benefits that the standard one doesn’t. The Benefit Dinner has always been a staple at the event, giving you the chance to attend a special meet and greet with Blizzard employees with most of the proceeds going to the Anaheim Hospitals.

BlizzCon 2019 will take place on November 1-2. The tickets will cost $229, $550, and $750 respectively. You can check out more information on the convention here.
