If you signed up for the Call of Duty: Elite Beta when it was announced in May, be on the lookout for an email from Activision regarding your entry to the beta. Activision has begun sending out pre-beta surveys, which claim that the beta invites will start being sent out on July 14th. The Call of Duty: Elite pre-beta survey that you might be getting in the mail won’t influence the likelihood that you are selected for the beta, and Activision encourages all to answer honestly to the questions in hopes to make the experience better for all.

Call of Duty: Elite is a suite of services that expands on the Call of Duty online experience. You’ll be able to connect with players in Call of Duty, like your online friends, co-workers, classmates, or new people that you meet on the service. There will be tournaments and other events that will put you in contention for both virtual and real-world prizes. Plus, you’ll gain access to a slew of online tools to enhance your game: Personal stats, exclusive strategy videos, and other detailed intel that will help you out on the Battlefield.

Look for the invitations starting July 14th, 2011.
