When Call of Duty XP storms Los Angeles it will give fans a first look at the popular online shooter.  The game has become a pop culture phenomenon in recent years, and who better to headline the event than Kanye West?  The controversial hip hop artist is slated to take the stage and send off the convention for all things Call of Duty on Saturday night.  Friday night is also said to have a headline act to close out the day, but Activision hasn’t yet revealed which artist has answered that “call of duty”.

The Call of Duty XP event kicks off on September 2, running on the 2nd and the 3rd.  Tickets cost $150 per person, with the proceeds going to the Call of Duty Endowment, a charitable organization that helps veterans.  Tickets to the event will net you a copy of Modern Warfare 3, an exclusive first look at the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer, and access to a venerable theme park of Call of Duty activities.

And now you’ll get all the Kanye West you can shake a stick at.
