The PlayStation 4 Exclusive Beta Test for Street Fighter V was a disaster. Â While fans of the fighting series were ready to test drive the latest from Capcom as an incentive for pre-ordering the game, a myriad of technical issues stopped that from happening. Â Capcom themselves, in a recent message to fans, says that “the issues we faced were more severe than we were prepared for.”
Because of these issues, the Street Fighter V Beta has been delayed, and not even Capcom knows when it will return. Â Capcom has reassured fans via a post on the Unity Blog that there will be at least three more beta tests to come, ahead of the game’s 2016 release.
“We understand how frustrating it is to be so close to playing the game you are excited for, and to not have it working. The whole team here is very disappointed that we were unable to deliver a proper beta experience this time. Thank you so much for your continued support, and we promise that we will have a better experience for you with the future betas.”
Nowhere in the message does it tell fans when to expect the Street Fighter V Beta to return to PlayStation 4 as they are working on solutions to the issues that they encountered in this first one.
