Capcom To Release Three Major Unannounced Games Within The Next Year

We’ve been hearing recently that Capcom has some pretty big things in the works, as it was announced yesterday that they are planning a “full-scale offensive” for the Resident Evil series this year. However, it looks like it won’t just be the Resident Evil series that will be making a splash during the next 12 months.

It has now been revealed during a presentation that Capcom gave recently that they will release 3 major unannounced games within the next 12 months. One of them will be related to the Monster Hunter series, but the other two are completely unknown at this time.

What’s interesting is that the expected sales range for each game is also listed, with one of the unannounced games being accompanied by a 4 million unit-range listing. This would definitely suggest that this would be from an established franchise that Capcom already has rather than a new IP, possibly hinting at a new Resident Evil game.

It’s all speculation at this point, however, as Capcom could also be planning another Devil May Cry or Dead Rising game, as well. The sales targets that they set are also crap shoots at this point, as their Street Fighter V was expected to sell 2 million units during their previous financial year and came up 600,000 units short.

Hopefully these mystery games won’t remain that way for much longer, as E3 is right around the corner and could potentially reveal what these games are.
