Treyarch launched the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Multiplayer Beta for PlayStation 4 earlier this week to much fanfare.  As the beta wears on, Treyarch is releasing more content for beta testers to try out in the form of an increased level cap, which will allow players to unlock higher lever weapons, equipment, perks, and scorestreaks.  Alongside the level cap increase, a new map will also be released, as well as a new Specialist, called the Reaper, which players can access at level 34.
The new map, dubbed Stronghold, is a high tech chateau in the Swiss Alps. Â Treyarch describes the map as a mix of exposed sightlines and close quarters.
The Reaper Specialist is a military R&D project that was a cutting edge combat robot. Â It features a Scythe weapon, which is a robotic arm that transforms into a high-powered mini-gun. Â It’s ability is to be able to simulate three decoy clones.
Alongside these new features, a new game mode is also being added with the popular Uplink Mode that was introduced in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.
The PlayStation 4 Beta for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is set to roll-on until August 23rd.
