The creators of both the Burnout and Black series have been teasing a new game that fans of both of those series would like, even though they said the mystery game is really nothing like either of them. So, what is this mysterious game they have been working on? Dangerous Golf.

Three Fields Entertainment has revealed that Dangerous Golf is, “as serious a golf game as Burnout was a serious simulation to driving games.” The game will be an over-the-top and arcade take on the otherwise low-energy sport, toting fast action, social multiplayer and all matter of shenanigans being on the bill.

Dangerous Golf works in a turn-based manner as the object of the game is to get points by destroying as much of the environment as you can. The game will support both online and offline multiplayer that can accommodate up to 8 players. It will also include over 100 holes across four different locations; which are a gas station, hotel kitchen, palace ballroom and a medieval castle.

Dangerous Golf is set to launch this May for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The creators said they wanted the game to have the attitude of the Burnout series while also having the destruction of the Black series, and an arcade golf game that has you destroying everything certainly lives up to that.
