Dark Souls II will launch in North America on March 11, 2014 and in Europe three days later, on March 14, 2014.

Namco Bandai made the announcement regarding the game’s launch during their Tokyo Game Show Event. The launch dates are for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game with the PC version expected to arrive shortly later. The delay will hopefully lead to a port of better quality then that of Dark Souls which was truly lacking.

Namco Bandai has also announced a Collector’s edition which includes a 12-inch tall Warrior Knight statue, a hardbound art-book, a fabric map, and the official game soundtrack in addition to the game itself.

Also shown at the TGS was a brand new trailer for Dark Souls II with the new tagline – Go Beyond Death.
