While From Software intends to move on from their highly successful Souls series, they haven’t wasted any time in getting some new ideas rolling. In fact, it has now been revealed that they have three games in development, which could be tackling very different genres.

In an interview with 4gamer that was translated by NeoGAF, From Software president Hidetaka Miyazaki confirmed that they have three projects in the works. The first one is described as an ARPG with a dark fantasy setting that is similar to the Souls series, though approached from a different angle.

Another of the games is something that is completely new and different compared to what the company has ever done before, being described as a bit weird.

However, the final game is strongly hinted at being a new entry in the Armored Core series. Miyazaki said that he apologizes to fans who have been waiting for a new game in the series, revealing that many of their staff want to do it and they don’t have an option not to.

It’s very possible that some of these projects could get shown off at Microsoft’s or Sony’s E3 press conferences today, so be sure to stay tuned for our coverage.
