While Darkest Dungeon came out of early access on PC very early this year, the game was also set to be coming to both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita sooner rather than later. However, those versions of the game were hit with a delay a few months back, though now we have official release info for them.
Thanks to an update on the PlayStation Blog, we now know that Darkest Dungeon will launch for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita on September 27th. The game will include everything that the PC version has, as well as Town Events and new hero classes to check out. “More than 40 different Town Events add variety to your campaign… including a chance encounter with the nefarious Vvulf and his Bandit Raiders, who seek to destroy the Hamlet!”
As for pricing, the game will cost $24.99 across both platforms and features both cross-buy and cross-save support. Also, there will be a 20% discount in place for PlayStation Plus subscribers, so you can get a pretty sweet deal if you’ve been waiting for the PlayStation version.
We reviewed and loved Darkest Dungeon when we covered it earlier this year, so this is definitely one to keep an eye on for PlayStation gamers. You can check out our review of the game by clicking right here.
