For all you gamers out there who enjoy playing Darksiders 2, but are a bit miffed that it’s not available on next-gen consoles, there’s some fantastic news for you! Darksiders 2: Definitive Edition has been listed on Amazon for release on PS4.
Darksiders 2 is a hack-and-slash game where you play as the embodiment of death. The Darksiders series as a whole was acquired by Nordic Games after its initial publisher, THQ, went under. It seems Nordic Games is looking to make the most of their acquisitions. Other games that have just been listed on Amazon for release on PS4 include:
- MX vs ATV: Supercross Encore Edition for PS4 and Steam
- ArcaniA: The Complete Tale for PS4, May 22nd 2015
- Legend of Kay HD for PS4 and WiiU, May 29th 2015
- The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 for PS4 and Xbox One
Darksiders 2, MX vs ATV an The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 all have release dates of December 31st 2015. For now, we can assume these are merely placeholders and not to be taken literally.
It’s interesting to note the lack of Xbox One store pages so far, perhaps Nordic Games cracked a deal with Sony? Maybe they are still working on it. We will see in the next few days, but for now it’s good news all around!
