Capcom has announced there will be several gameplay tweaks in Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition.
The official Devil May Cry Twitter page announced the following:
“In addition to major new features like playable characters, Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition will have some more subtle gameplay tweaks. Notably, the appearance rate of Proud Souls and Red Orbs has been increased, meaning you can upgrade your characters faster.”
If you have ever played a Devil May Cry game before, you’ll know you need Red Orbs to spend to upgrade your character. You get them by killing enemies. Sometimes enemies are generous with the Red Orbs, while other times they don’t drop them at all.
It appears in Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition, Red Orbs and Proud Souls will be easier for you to obtain. You can level up your character at a faster rate which will hopefully mean the game will be easier for you to play.
Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition will also bring loads of new features not seen in the original version. It was noted a few weeks ago there will be tons of new characters for you to play as too.
Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition is due out June 18th for the PS4 and Xbox One in Japan with the PC release coming June 24th. Capcom has yet to announce a Western release date, but it should be around the same time.
