Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth released back in March in Japan for PS Vita, which quickly prompted a campaign to have the game localized in English. After multiple Digimon games now coming to the US, we received fantastic news back in July when not only was the game announced for the US, but also that it would be coming to PS4, and it sounds like a few new features are coming as well.
As announced by the Asian branch of Bandai Namco, and translated by Gematsu, the PlayStation 4 version is getting three new features when it launches in China later this year, which will of course come in the US release in 2016 as well. In addition, Bandai Namco confirmed later that these same features would be coming to the new version for PS Vita as well.
One of the biggest additions to Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth on PS4 are new difficulties that will make the game definitely worth playing more than one for hardcore fans, also giving gamers that may have imported the game reason to play again.
On top of that, there will be a New Game Plus mode added to the game after beating the game the first time, which will make the package even more valuable than it was originally.
Lastly, Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth is adding cross-save functionality with the PS Vita version, which makes so much sense for a RPG that is available on both platforms.
No release date is given for Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth yet, but we can expect it sometime in early 2016.
