While the general consensus is that Dishonored 2 is a fantastic game overall, there have been many complaints when it comes to the PC version of the game. There are avid PC gamers with top-of-the-line rigs that are having lots of problems trying to get the game to run smoothly, and now Digital Foundry has tested the PC version and did not have nice things to say about it.

Digital Foundry calls the PC version of the game “sub-par” and that it “had no business shipping” in the state that it is currently in. They go on to say that it will take a lot more than a patch to fix the problems that are present, suggesting that this will be another big game release with technical issues that will likely be around for awhile.

It’s safe to say that the game did much better on other platforms, with the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One versions performing well. The PlayStation 4 Pro version of the game runs the best out of all of them, though even that one suffered frame-rate issues when many enemies were on the screen at once.
