Hot Toys has announced that it’s producing a figure based off of Donnie Yen’s character in Star Wars: Rogue One. His full reveal should be very soon.
Hot Toys only made an announcement on Facebook and teased what the figure looks like. We might see what the full figure looks like very soon. The announcement can be seen below.
“Star Wars fans, it is time to get ready as you will soon meet Hot Toys’ highly detailed 1/6th scale collectible figure of the incredible spiritual warrior from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story featuring the likeness of Hong Kong actor and martial artist Donnie Yen! Remember to stay tuned as more amazing Hot Toys collectible figures based on this epic film are coming soon!”
Donnie Yen plays the character of Chirrut Îmwe. Not much is known about the character, but Wikipedia has posted a short bio: “A deeply spiritual warrior, Chirrut believes all living things are connected through the Force. His sightless eyes do not prevent him from being a highly skilled fighter. Though he lacks Force abilities, Îmwe has rigorously honed his body through intense physical and mental discipline“.
Star Wars: Rogue One releases in North America on December 16th, 2016. The movie is out one day earlier over in the UK.
