Bioware is a very busy game studio right now. Not only do they have the massive and highly anticipated Anthem coming in just a few months, but they also have to field endless questions about what they’re going to do with their other huge franchises. While they recently teased new Mass Effect, there’s not a lot to report on that front. But in a new post from Bioware General Manager Casey Hudson we get another tease of that plus a very solid boost for fans of Dragon Age.

The post, which explains a lot about where Bioware is with their upcoming Anthem, Hudson says “We announced one of the things we’ve done recently (a 4k enhancement to Mass Effect: Andromeda on Xbox One) but as we alluded to in our N7 Day video, that was just a small part of the plans we’re making for Mass Effect going forward.”

He follows this by talking about Dragon Age, saying “If you’ve been following these blogs, or myself and Mark Darrah on Twitter, you know we’re also working on some secret Dragon Age stuff. Dragon Age is an incredibly important franchise in our studio, and we’re excited to continue its legacy. Look for more on this in the coming month (though I won’t tell you where to look…)”

So if you’re a fan of Bioware or any of their longrunning franchises, there seems to be good news out there or on the way.
