The fall is always one of the biggest times of the year for gaming, with major titles competing for the biggest release spots years after year. One highly anticipated game is Dragon Age: Inquisition, the next entry in the series after the very disappointing Dragon Age II. Originally scheduled for release on October 7, it has now been revealed that the game has been delayed by a little over a month.

Dragon Age: Inquisition will now be making its way to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC on November 18. The followed was written on the official website for the game that announced the delay.

  • “I’m writing to let you know that Dragon Age: Inquisition has a new release date of November 18, 2014 in North America (November 21st in EU). We appreciate the enormous support we’ve received from all of you to get to this point, and while this extra few weeks may not seem like a lot, I know the game you’ll play will be all the better for it.”

While this now moves the game from the packed month of October, it will be right in the thick of all the major November releases as well. Regardless, Dragon Age: Inquisition should be one of the biggest games of the fall, regardless of the release date.
