The original Dragon Ball FighterZ Open Beta was set for January 14-15, or January 13-15 for those who had pre-ordered the game. However, due to server issues the first time around, Bandai Namco decided to open a second Open Beta from January 18-19. But this second Open Beta experienced issues of its own, so Bandai Namco have recently announced that there will be a third Open Beta for the game ahead of its official release this Friday, January 26.
Bandai Namco announced earlier today (January 23) on Facebook that this last Open Beta didn’t go exactly as planned either, particularly for Xbox One users. The company stated that those playing the Beta on Xbox One only had the limited availability to play against AI characters rather than against other people online. Due to this, there will be one last Open Beta, this time just for Xbox One players. This last Open Beta will start today at 9:00PM PST/January 24 at 12:00AM EST and end on January 24 at 9:00PM PST/January 25 at 12:00AM EST. Hopefully everything will go smoothly this time around.
Dragon Ball FighterZ is scheduled to release this Friday, January 26, and will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, presumably with fully functional online capabilities for all.
