The first Dragon Ball: Project Fusion trailer has been released and it shows us a lot of gameplay footage. The game is a unique RPG coming out exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS later this year.

Bandai Namco just uploaded the trailer today on its Japanese YouTube channel. The game is now being renamed Dragon Ball: Fusions, which is a change from what was announced a few weeks ago.

Although the trailer is in Japanese, you can get an idea of the features that will be available in the game. There are different worlds that you can visit and all of them have been fused together in some way.

A cool thing you can do in the game is fly around the areas like an open-world game. Since it’s an RPG, you can also travel on the ground and visit areas on land. Players will also encounter famous characters in the wider Dragon Ball universe. This includes the likes of Goten, Trunks and even Pan. The trailer shows them going up against the Ginyu Force.

The trailer also shows us briefly what the fighting mechanics will be like. Dragon Ball: Fusions will be out later this year in Japan. No Western release date has been announced yet.
