Dragon Ball Xenoverse’s Mystery Fighter’s Identity Has Finally Been Revealed

Dragon Ball Xenoverse is the next entry in the long running series of games based on the popular anime series. After the extreme disappointment of Dragon Ball: Battle of Z earlier this year, there are a lot of high hopes for this one, especially with the return of Dimps as developer. One of the most talked about parts of the game has been the mystery fighter that was showcased in trailers and screenshots, and now his identity has finally been revealed.

As we just told you the other day, custom characters would be returning for the first time since Ultimate Tenkaichi, but what we didn’t know at the time was that the mystery fighter was in fact a creation through the custom character mode. This makes total sense, as we heard that some original storylines were going to be implemented, and it appears that will happen through the custom character’s appearing in the various parts of the Dragon Ball timeline and changing history.

You will have not only the option to choose the race, clothes, hair, name, and such, but also the gender. So far, we know that you will be able to choose from the following races: Saiyan, Earthling, Namekian, and Majin. This might be all we will be able to choose from, but there is always the possibility of more to be revealed down the road.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse is scheduled to release sometime in 2015 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.
