After months of delays, the much awaited release of Driveclub for PlayStation 4 is almost here, as the game has just recently gone gold. With many deciding to go the digital route these days, the install size for a game is incredibly important and now that very detail has been revealed for Driveclub.
According to the game director for Driveclub, Paul Rustchynsky, through his personal Twitter page, the game will feature a 17 GB install size for both the digital version and the retail version. This means if you are getting the game digitally, you will have to download 17 GB from the PlayStation Store, while the retail version will require a 17 GB installation from the disc itself.
Rustchynsky also revealed another piece of good news, the fact that only 3.5 GB is required to install before you can play part of the game, so you shouldn’t have to wait too overly long, regardless of if its digital or retail.
Driveclub is an interesting animal game wise, as it will be available to buy for the full price of $59.99, while PlayStation Plus members will also get a version of their own at no cost. Even better, this will be in addition to the separate lineup of free PS Plus games for the month of October.
Driveclub races across the finish line on October 7, so get those engines ready!
