One of the biggest and most surprising announcements during last year’s The Game Awards was that of Batman – The Telltale Series, which was recently revealed to be coming this summer. At the time the release window was unveiled, they promised more was coming at E3 and that has now happened as we’ve gotten the reveal of our voice cast along with our first images of the game.

As revealed through the official Telltale Games website, we now know who will be filling the main voice cast for Batman – A Telltale Series when it releases later this summer.

Popular voice actor Troy Baker will be taking on the role of Batman, which is kind of funny considering he was The Joker in Batman: Arkham Origins. Joining Baker will be Travis Willingham as Harvey Dent, Erin Yvette as Vicki Vale, Enn Reitel as Alfred Pennyworth, Murphy Guyer as Lieutenant James Gordon, Richard McGonagle as Carmine Falcone, and Laura Bailey as Selina Kyle.

We didn’t get any details on what the story will be, but it must be pretty early in Batman’s career with Gordon only being a Lieutenant here. They tease more will be coming during E3, so hopefully story info will be part of that.

The game is also said to be using a new engine from Telltale Games and the images look great here, so hopefully that will translate over to the gameplay as well, as that has long been Telltale’s biggest struggle.
