Gun Media has finally revealed the first look at gameplay for Friday the 13th: The Game at E3, which was done via a stream featuring some of the game’s developers. It’s a brief video that you can check out at the bottom of this post, but it gives a very good idea of what to expect from the full game.

If you didn’t know already, the game is a 1v7 multiplayer game where 7 teenagers are trying to avoid getting brutally murdered by Jason Vorhees. The famous killer stalks them through a wooded area and several buildings, and the teenagers need to do everything they can to stay as far away from him as possible.

This new gameplay footage showed off several features that we can expect to see in the main game, such as Jason’s enhanced hearing and some of his brutal takedowns. There will be several hiding places for the teenagers to take cover in, though the ending of the video reveals that they can’t protect you forever.

Friday the 13th: The Game was successfully Kickstarted last year, and you can pre-order it by clicking right here. We still don’t have a firm idea of when it will finally launch, but more news is expected to be coming soon. Check out the gameplay footage below.
