Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite has a big spot at Sony’s press conference where a couple of new things for fans of the fighter have been revealed.  Eight new characters have been confirmed for the game, alongside a story mode and demo announced for the game.

Let’s start with the new characters.  On the Capcom side, four characters have been confirmed in Dante, Zero, Spencer, and Arthur.  On the Marvel side, Thanos, Gamora, Nova, and Doctor Strange have been confirmed through the trailer.  These eight new characters join the fourteen other previously announced fighters.

MvC Infinite will feature free-form 2v2 team battles with both a cinematic single player modes and multiplayer modes, alongside traditional arcade training and mission modes.  The free story demo for Mavel vs. Capcom: Infinite is currently available for download on PS4 and Xbox One, giving those interested in the fighter a sneak peek at the game.

Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite is slated for release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on September 19th, 2017.
