EA Announces New Bioware IP Called Anthem

EA has revealed a glimpse of a new IP from one of their most beloved studios, Bioware.  The reveal showcased some type of post apocalyptic setting that features robots and monsters, as a teaser it was really hard to discern just what this new IP would be in terms of gameplay, but they did say that a lot more would be coming in the Microsoft Press Conference.

From the trailer we do know that the game involves a wall that is protecting inhabitants from giant dinosaur looking monsters.   Inside, it showed off suits of armor that looked Titanfall-esque.

It sounds like Anthem will be something that has been developed specifically with powerful systems like Xbox Scorpio specifically in mind.

Update:  Another new image has been found for Anthem which reveals another look what looks like class-based cooperative play.

More concrete details will be coming about Anthem tomorrow at Microsoft’s Press Conference, until then, the teaser trailer for Anthem found below is all we have.
