Yep, there’s another Madden game coming out this year. Electronic Arts has announced that Madden NFL 19 will arrive on August 10th for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. According to a press release for the game, this year’s Madden will feature a new animation system that delivers to players “more precision as they run, cut, catch and celebrate on the gridiron.”
Madden NFL 19 will feature more ways to build teams and develop players which should tie into the Franchise and Ultimate Team modes that were laid bare with today’s announcement.
EA has announced that thew new Franchise Mode in Madden NFL 19 will allow players to choose offensive and defensive schemes across single or multiplayer seasons. Franchises will also feature a Custom Draft Class Creator where players can create their own draft classes that feature players from the past and present for use in the mode.
On the Ultimate Team front, a set of training tools are being introduced that allow MUT players the ability to train their favorite players with Player Upgrades. MUT will feature Solos challenges with MUT Solo Battles that has a leaderboard reward system that pits players against one another.
Also announced today are the pre-order bonuses for Madden NFL 19 and multiple editions of the game.
A standard edition pre-order will give players access to the game on August 10th and they’ll receive one Elite Player from their favorite team, as well as five Gold Team Fantasy Packs.  For those who pre-order the Hall of Fame Edition, those players will get access to the game three days earlier with their choice of one of five Elite Hall of Fame Legends in MUT. They’ll also get one Training Pack, and seven Gold Fantasy Packs.
On August 2nd, EA Access subscribers will be able to go hands on with their trial of the game on Xbox One.
