Electronic Arts has unveiled the new entry of its UFC series with a new trailer showcasing all the thrill of the mixed martial arts. One of the main attractions of the game will be a ‘G.O.A.T. Career Mode’ in which players will manage the relationships outside the octagon, creating rivalries with other fighters and building their own prestige. This mode offers such a fleshed out experience it even features an in-game social media in which players can engage in feuds with their digital rivals and determine the personality of their own character.
Additionally, the game also reinforces its multiplayer features by adding the ‘Stand & Bang’ and ‘Submission Showdown’ modes to go along with the Knockout Mode that was already present in UFC 2. There will also be a Tournament mode in which players sign up and fight in rounds, with fatigue and injuries accumulating with each match.
The company is also promising a completely reworked physics system by using Real Player Motion Tech, describing it as “a new gameplay animation technology that delivers the most fluid and responsive motion ever.” The studio in charge of developing the title is EA Vancouver.
