Eidos Montreal is currently working on the Thief reboot, but today they’ve announced what else they’re working on. This includes an ambitious new game called “Deus Ex: Universe”. A blog post on the Eidos Montreal website vaguely outlined the concept behind the new game.
“The concept behind Deus Ex: Universe is to create an ongoing, expanding and connected game world built across a generation of core games. It’s a commitment on our part to deliver meaningful content that expands the franchise on a regular basis and to deliver a deep conspiracy that will span several connected Deus Ex games, creating a more immersive and richer experience than ever before.”
Eidos says that this game will arrive on both PC and consoles, revealed a piece of concept art for the game from a “ghetto-city”, but did not reveal when to expect this next Deus Ex game.
