Evolve Website Countdown Clock Teases Announcement Coming Soon

Turtle Rock Studios’ Evolve may be getting a big announcement soon, as a countdown clock has appeared on the game’s official website. The countdown is set to come to an end tomorrow at noon EST, and it’s accompanied with a hashtag that reads #StageUp.

This very well could end up being an announcement for a sequel to the game, as the game sold well enough and Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick has expressed intentions for it to be a long-term franchise. The game had been supported regularly with DLC and updates, despite the fanbase dropping off significantly post-launch.

It’s worth noting that Turtle Rock has not officially addressed this countdown themselves on social media, though they have retweeted a tweet from a Twitch streamer that mentions the countdown.

Despite Evolve being a big series for Turtle Rock, they are also working on a brand new IP that they have now announced yet. The game is reported to be cutting edge, but beyond that we have very little information to share on it.
