Fallen Legion: Rise to Glory Announced for Nintendo Switch

by Jose Belmonte

NIS America has announced today that it will publish Fallen Legion: Rise to Glory on Nintendo Switch. The game is a compilation of the two entries released on PS4, PS3 and PSVita, named Sins of an Empire and Flames of Rebellion, adding some interesting extras. Each chapter tells the story of a conflict from different sides: Sins of an Empire follows Princess Cecille in her journey to restore the glory of her home land, while Flames of Rebellion shows how Legatus Laendur works to defeat the royal family and destroy the empire.

Fallen Legion is a 2D RPG with a gorgeous art style which reminisces of the acclaimed Dragon’s Crown. Here’s an official overview of the package by NIS America: “Return to the battlefield of Fenumia, where a besieged nation stands on the brink of war. See the conflict through the lenses of Princess Cecille and Legatus Laendur, one who would restore her kingdom to its former glory and one who would see a new nation rise in its place.

Combining both Fallen Legion: Flames of Rebellion and Fallen Legion: Sins of an Empire for the first time on one console, Fallen Legion: Rise to Glory includes all new art, Exemplars, monsters, bosses and challenges not found in the original releases. See the story from all sides anywhere you go in Fallen Legion: Rise to Glory, coming 2018 for Nintendo Switch!”

The company has also listed a special edition on the game containing an art book, a soundtrack CD, a medallion of honor, and a collector’s box, available for $59.00.

Fallen Legion: Rise to Glory launches on Nintendo Switch on 2018.
